The Texas Water Journal is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the timely consideration of Texas water resources management, research, and policy issues from a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates science, engineering, law, planning, and other disciplines. The Texas Water Journal is published in cooperation with the Texas Water Resources Institute, part of Texas A&M AgriLife, and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University, and the Bureau of Economic Geology in the Jackson School of Geosciences at The University of Texas at Austin.

The Texas Water Journal Selects Dr. Ralph A. Wurbs as the Inaugural Recipient of the Texas Water Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. Ralph A. Wurbs has been recognized as the inaugural recipient of the Texas Water Journal's Texas Water Lifetime Achievement Award in part for his role in developing the Water Rights Analysis Package (WRAP) modeling system.
