Through the Texas Water Lifetime Achievement Award, the Texas Water Journal recognizes accomplishments that have advanced Texas water management, science, policy, law, engineering, and/or communication; provided examples from which both Texas and other states can learn; and required personal sacrifice.
The Texas Water Lifetime Achievement Award is granted annually. Nominees, who must have published in the Texas Water Journal, are submitted by the journal's board, editors, and staff, with the board making the final selection.
